Welcome to my blog— I am grateful to have you here in this space.

Reflections of Your Revolution

I’ve had this on my mind for some time now and I would like to share. I feel that a lot of you can resonate with what I’m going to blab on. I’m here to tell you that I have hit extremely low points in my life. Most of what I’ve kept to myself. I have felt unworthy and nothing close to being enough for following what my heart doesn’t stop thumping for. I’ve called myself nasty things countless amount of times because I didn’t accept who I was. I have shoved stress so far into every part of my body that it caused me to become chronically ill. I’ve thought that the person looking back at me in the mirror was ugly. We’ve all experienced one of these before.

I am also here to tell you that flowing with all of your circumstances, the hurt, the ache, and FEELING your way through everything is okay- it is a must. Don’t push anything to the side. You are worthy of anything that sets your soul on fire and you are beautiful beyond the amount of times you have looked in the mirror and disliked every part of what was looking back at you. You are not an image. You are your soul and all of the things that make you smile. I want you to know that clenching self-love and acceptance by the hand and never letting go is possible, as long as you’re willing to take the intimidating steps to do so. This life that your soul and body have chosen-- exist to do just that.

Each and everyday, I encourage you to slowly fall in love with your faults, insecurities, lows, and your highs. Let them teach you what you need to know. Slow progress is progress, and progression never ends. Every single thing you go through is a small detail on this journey of yours and you’re here to flow with it. Pay attention to pattern and synchronicity. What are they happening for? What is it knocking on your door to teach you? What are you here to master in this lifetime? Who are you here to become?

The moment that you allow yourself to recognize your current experience as a reflection of your revolution, rather than a victimizing situation, you will see the gift and beauty of growth in everything.
